Excerpt from Kickstart Today, Martin Avis’ excellent newsletter :
Finally, I had to laugh this morning. I had an email from a
subscriber telling me that he wants to unsubscribe because – and
this is in his own words:
“I can’t face any more film reviews from a man who is old enough
to know better than to waste his time on garbage like
Transformers and Terminator.”
Naturally I acquiesced to his request. But it made me think, why
would anyone think I’m too old to have fun?
Please God don’t ever let me get too old to enjoy myself!
On that note, go and do something way too young for your years
this weekend!
This got me wondering about who passes judgment on who is
too old for what or what is too old for me?
What do you guys think?

I believe that the people that are able to allow themselves to enjoy life and behave like a (mature) child are the people that will live the happiest AND longest lives.
BTW should I feel young from actually liking both the Terminator and Transformer movies?

“a mature child” is a nice way to put it!
Your ‘SELF’ IS young Mikael…being amused or not may come from your point of view but ‘YOU’ are still YOU even living in a body somewhat worn by years of living…
It may be that as we emerge from the responsibilities of adulthood, parenthood and taking ourselves seriously we
enjoy our sense of wonder…it was always there but we
feel more free to enjoy ourselves…
